The hotel had a central location and was only a few meters away from the Bask Nest Underwater Statues. There was an in-house restaurant nearby.

The food was fabulous with a lot of choices. the hotel is in a great location, right next to 'the Deck' restaurant, a Mosque, the beach, and one of the best dive centers on the whole island.

We had a great stay at Gili Divers! The guys are very funny. The hotel is in a very silent area and it´s really quiet during the night. But it´s also not so far from the party area, just a 10-minutes walk. It´s 10 m from the beach and the beach is well for swimming and snorkeling and it´s not so dirty or full of corals like other beaches at the island.

The fact that it is a serious hotel for twenty somethings learning scuba diving. Run by a good mix of young Swedes and Brits who were serious about diving. Right on the beach next to a turtle hatchery and an enclosed area with coral and reef fish for snorkelling.

Situated right next to a very loud and amplified call to prayer from an adjacent mosque in the early hours of the morning. The rates quoted on Booked.net were off the scale (way too high) compared to what was available to walk ins off the street. What was served at breakfast for a bed and breakfast booking was a little hit or miss (one day no bacon, the next no orange juice etc.). The billing arrangements on check out are a little primitive with no proper bill generated just your signed order stubs ? They got our bill wrong by a substantial amount and clearly need a proper billing system.

The location here is wonderful, with a night market and a regular market just a short walk away.

location is good, easy to go out and look for shops, bars and restaurants around the hotel. can use fresh water but not hot water...

cannot use hot water. the room is dusty. many mosquitos in the room, especially in the bathroom.... pool was not opened.

I liked the central location of the Gili Divers Hotel, which provided easy access to restaurants, cafes, the beach and the port. The rooms were equipped with air conditioning, a fan and a safe. All of which were in good working order. Although the TV in the room only had local channels, there was a DVD player and a collection of DVDs available to quests.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who was over 30 and not interested in participating in a scuba diving course. My double room was very small for one person so for two people it would be congested and uncomfortable. There was a small swimming pool but the surrounding area was not conducive to relaxing by the pool. The focus of staff seemed to be on the diving business that was conducted by the owners of the hotel.In fact, the primary use of the pool seemed to be for the training of the divers. The standard of the breakfast, which was included in the price of the room, varied from day to day and at best was adequate. The Balinese staff members were friendly and welcoming but aside from a few fleeting exceptions, other staff members, that is, non locals were uncommunicative and interaction with guests who were not interested in diving was either non existent or minimal.

Had 4 nights in Gili Trawangan, spending our time here really good. the employees were amicable and kept it all immaculately clean. - Its location in Gili Trawangan was fantastic, just off the main Street and Beachfront, and so many restaurant.

I really dislike it, except for the fair breakfast :( The dive masters there run their business separately. They don't deal the hotel issues but could well arrange the dive you want.

Very noisy!!! It's very close to the mosque and the room is facing to the pool for teaching. I woke up at 4am~, 7am~ and again 9am~. Insecure! The thin glass door is very lame. Uneasy to lock. And you have to well close the curtain; otherwise, everyone could see you on bed or your stuff when they pass by. Besides, the safe doesn't work. Unreliable! They didn't book the shuttle and speedboat as they said and emailed. We waited an hour and then end up wasted much more time in arranging the transports. Price problem! They never disclose they indeed charge the room rate of Rp by referring to AUSTRALIAN dollars. No fixed rate in Rp. Just floating daily according to AUD. So, if Booked.net shows it is xx USD, it's just a rough reference price. Besides, their staff miscalculated the bill a few times which took me more than half an hour to settle a bill. Lastly, the bed sheet is unclean!
